Job opportunity - two lectureships in Sociology

We welcome applications from candidates with interests in any area of Sociology or Social Policy; preference may be given to sociologists with research interests in the areas of population change, third-sector research, the sociology of health and illness, the development of new research methodologies, or the future of work.

You will have a PhD in Sociology or a related Social Science discipline, the ability to contribute to team-taught courses as well as offering teaching related to your own specialisms and possess relevant research experience.

Salary: £28,290 - £31,846 pa (pay award pending)

Starting date - the posts are tenable from 1 December 2008 and you should be able to take up your position as soon as possible after that date
