Social Sciences academic hits the airwaves about US elections

A Social Sciences academic from the University of Southampton had been hitting the airwaves commenting on the United States of America elections.

Dr Russell Bentley, a Senior Lecturer in Political Theory and a US citizen, was featured on BBC Radio Solent giving his opinion about the US elections.

Russell has carried out consultancy work for several US government agencies and has a wide interest in the relationship between American cultural history and the country’s political practices. He is also an experienced radio commentator on US politics.

His research interests lie in political theory and he lectures in American political thought and culture.
