Doctoral Training Centre studentships on offer

The Economic and Social Research Council Doctoral Training Centre (ESRC DTC) at the University of Southampton has been awarded 18 studentships to fund postgraduate training and research at doctoral level every year for the next five years.

The DTC at Southampton is one of just 21 across the UK that has been accredited by the ESRC. It offers a unique academic environment for doctoral training within social sciences and provides supervisory expertise across the full breadth of human and social sciences disciplines.

The successful studentship applicants will join the DTC's thriving community of postgraduate students who are supported by a first class research training infrastructure.

The studentships are for entry in October 2013 and the closing date for applications is 6 February 2012. They will cover tuition fees, a maintenance grant and a research, training and support grant.
