Southampton professor gives evidence in parliament

Professor Rosalind Edwards (SSPC and NCRM) was invited to give evidence to the House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee on adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and early intervention. Her advice about the inadequacy of causal pathways evidence has been quoted in the Committee’s report on evidence-based early years intervention, to support the recommendation that the ACE framework should not be used to guide support for individuals.
