Polish migrants and schooling. The seminar will be relevant to a wide variety of staff and students.
The Polish and British education systems are disparate in terms of organisational structure, requirements and the overall philosophy of teaching. We shall explore the experiences of Polish children and their parents with schooling in England, and how Polish parents perceive the English education system.
This will be followed by an analysis of the role schooling plays in making decisions as to settlement or return.
