Anne Schuster is a postgraduate research student in Social Statistics and Demography.

In addition to pursuing her PhD at Southampton, Anne works in non-profit global health research with the US-based NGO Jhpiego. At Jhpiego, Anne contributes to operations research evaluating global health programs and interventions in Asia and Africa. She has a Masters of Public Health from Emory University.

Research interests

Factors influencing fertility decision making, behaviour and outcomes. This includes an interest in socioeconomic development, remoteness and physical isolation, and armed conflict.
