After completing BSc in Applied Statistics with IT at Maseno University, Kenya I worked for one and half years as a Data Analyst at Kenya Forest Service. In 2012, I returned to academia where I pursued MSc in Environmental Statistics at University of Glasgow. On completion I joined KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme (Nairobi) as a Research officer where I was involved in spatial temporal modelling of malaria risks in Africa. After working for one and half years, I left KEMRI and started my PhD studies. My PhD topic aims to investigate the effectiveness of response propensity models in surveys based on adaptive and responsive strategies.
