Role:
Data analysts collect and analyse data on behalf of a company who then use the data to perfect their marketing, insurance, political and/or business practices. Data analysts are employed in both the public and private sector.
Skills Required:
- Ability to combine knowledge of a substantive subject area alongside proficiency in quantitative analysis. Often these can be acquired by students who do a substantive BSc degree followed by an MSc in Social Statistics or Research Methods.
