Improving the lives of people with dementia and their carers
Hugh Perry, Professor of Experimental Neuropathology, was a member of the working party for the Nuffield Council of Bioethics which produced a report on the difficult ethical dilemmas faced by the carers of dementia patients on a daily basis. The report sets out an ethical approach to dealing with these dilemmas, and makes policy recommendations aimed at improving the lives of people with dementia and their carers.
