Dr Andriy Shevchuk from the Institute for Life Sciences on 'Membrane transport in living cells: new approach, new findings'. Andriy is a relatively new Fellow based in IfLS and is planning a BBSRC New Investigator award.
The Forum will take place at 4pm in Institute of Developmental Sciences building at SGH in level A seminar room, refreshments provided. As you will know, sessions are for 1 hour and cover an informal explanation by the discussion leader followed by group discussion to help develop the plans for the grant application, particularly the science and directions of the work. Andrew is also giving a seminar on his work on Monday 21 May 2012 at 5pm in Building 85 (Life Sciences Building, Highfield) in Rm 2207 entitled 'Ion Conductance Microscopy for Cell Biology: principles and applications'
