Event details

The next Biomed Science forum will be held in B85, Life Sciences Building on Highfield, at 4pm on Nov 30 in room 2211

The presenter will be Neil Smyth with myself on an application we are preparing at present with title: 'Use of embryonic and other stem cell types for mechanistic analysis of developmental programming mediated through maternal diet'

Remember, this forum is for confidential discussion of a grant application at relatively early stage to get feedback on ideas and plan in informal setting. Open to all academic staff/postdocs with interests in the biomed area. Lead presenter will talk for around 15 mins (whiteboard only, no slides - giving concepts of applic) followed by open discussion for up to 1 hr. Hope to have some refreshments there.

Please come along if you are free. Also, please offer your project for future Biomed Forum - held last Friday of month at 4pm. Past presenters have a higher award success that local average.

For this mail, have added in all CfBS academic staff to see if more recruits want to join the mailing list. If anyone already on mailing list would like to come off, please let Maria Hilliard know (mail in cc).

Please pass on this email to anyone you think would like to participate. Normally the group would be any research/academic staff above PhD level. The help and support you might get could be invaluable in securing funding.
