The Dementia Consortium aims are to provide funding, expertise and resources to translate breakthroughs in neurodegeneration research into new dementia treatments. It has been launched earlier this year and its members are Esai, Lilly, Alzheimer Research UK and MRC Technology.
Applications for funding by the Dementia Consortium are now open. Closing dates are approximately every two months; the next deadline is 27 May 2014. http://www.dementiaconsortium.org/
The presentation by Dr Duncan Young from the MRC Technology and his colleagues will be followed by a networking lunch at 12pm and some 1-to-1 sessions with him and/or his colleagues, for you to discuss individual projects.
