2. SEC Seminar: Sarah Fine

21st February, 5 pm, Room 2117, Avenue Campus, University of Southampton Sarah Fine (KCL) on ‘The outraged conscience of mankind: Asylum, refugees, and a human right to international freedom of movement’

3. 'Constitutivism: Contemporary and Historical Approaches', workshop 3rd April, 10 – 6pm, Room 1097, Avenue Campus, University of Southampton

Speakers: Paul Katsafanas (Boston), Jack Woods (Leeds), Lucas Thorpe (Bogazici), Daniel Elstein (Leeds) and Sasha Mudd (Southampton).

4. 'The Moral and Political Philosophy of John Stuart Mill', workshop 30th -31st May, University of Southampton

5. Southampton-Humboldt Normativity Conference 2017 21st – 23rd June, University of Southampton. This conference is the second in an annual series alternating between the University of Southampton and Humboldt University, Berlin.

Keynote speakers: Nomy Arpaly (Brown) and Sanford Goldberg (Northwestern).
