Event details
Philosophy at Southampton will host the second workshop of the AHRC-funded 'Normativity: Epistemic and Practical' project.
The workshop will focus on explanatory connections between epistemic and practical normativity. For instance, are epistemic norms (reasons, oughts, requirements) grounded in practical norms, or vice-versa? Are practical and epistemic norms different species of a single genus? In what way, if any, are epistemic and practical norms unified?
Speakers
Ulrike Heuer

Daniel Star

Asbjørn Steglich-Peterson
(Aarhus)
Kurt Sylvan
(Southampton)
