2020 Fitness Goals

Sport & Wellbeing at the University of Southampton would like to wish you a Happy New Year. We are pleased to let you know that we are looking forward to supporting your active goals in 2020.

Whatever your goal or whatever your mission we cannot wait to support and guide you!

Did you know that a report from Sport England state that active people reported feeling:

  • More satisfied with their lives
  • Happier
  • More likely to feel the things they do in life are worthwhile
  • Less anxious

Our facilities & services are open to all, we have a dedicated membership for University of Southampton (UoS) students, staff and also the local community.

To find out which membership suits you simply visit our membership page, membership rates start at just £25 per month for the general public, £21 per month for UoS staff and if you fall into one of the below categories you qualify for our Community Partner rate of £21 per month:

  • University of Southampton Alumni (must hold an Alumni ID card)**
  • Retired Staff
  • External Students
  • Staff working for the University of Southampton Hospitals Trust
  • Emergency Services Employees
  • Staff of Lloyds Register based at the University of Southampton
  • Mayflower Theatre employees
  • Partner of University of Southampton Students, Staff and the categories above

We are not all about memberships; you can use our facility as a pay as you go member for the majority of our services. Our brand new class timetable launches on the 6/1/2020 with all of your favourites such as:

  • Zumba
  • Indoor Cycling
  • Pilates
  • Yoga
  • Circuits
  • Express HIIT
  • Core Fitness
  • LBT
  • Latin Fusion
  • Aqua Zumba
  • Fitness Yoga
  • Total Stretch
  • Les Mills Body Pump

But also some new classes:

  • Mini Circuits
  • Relaxation & Meditation (during the exam period only)
  • Functional Fitness
