The Society for Renaissance Studies 6th Biennial Conference will take place 13-15 July 2014. The conference is being organised by the Centre for Medieval and Renaissance Studies at the University of Southampton and the Society Renaissance Studies. The theme of the conference is 'Performative Spaces'.

There are 170 papers offered in the programme covering many aspects of 'Performative Spaces'. A short version of the programme together with the the full programme can be found under the useful download section of this page.
We are pleased to announce our plenary speakers are Lena Cowen Orlin, Simon Thurley, Wendy Heller and Greg Walker.
