`NExT Responsive Fellowship' scheme launched for post-doctoral researchers

The NExT Institute has launched a conceptually new post-doctoral fellowship scheme, which first position was advertised here. This position will be joint between Southampton and RAL and across theory and experiment. It will be awarded for 12 months and deployed in `responsive' mode to specific requirements emerging from the NExT research programme: namely, to enable the prompt theoretical interpretation of specific experimental data or the rapid experimental validation of new theoretical ideas. Such a position is the first one of this kind, as more are expected to follow leading to more connections between theory and experiment and NExT nodes. We are delighted to announce that Dr Souad Semlali from Université Cadi Ayyad has been appointed to this post. She will join the institute in August 2021.
