Title: Characterising spacetime during cosmological collapse
Abstract: Cosmological collapse, where gravitational pull overcomes the universe’s expansion, can create primordial black holes or other bound structures. This depends on the initial distribution of matter and its equation of state. Here I look into the dust scenario in full numerical relativity (using Einstein Toolkit) and draw comparisons with the analytical spherical collapse model. I will show that this is a valid approximation as long as the initial conditions of the simulation are implemented consistently. Additionally, I will discuss the impact of shear and characterise the spacetime using Gravito-electromagnetism.
