The Exams and Awards Team (EAT) is responsible for compiling data and managing the processes that cover the administrative planning and operational delivery of:
- the 3 main exam periods at the end of Semesters 1 and 2 and the supplementary (re-sit) period, including arrangements for student timetables, additional exam requirements, off campus exams and invigilation
- printing all certificates and diploma supplements for finalists, including replacement certificates and certified copies
- winter and summer graduation ceremonies specifically programme eligibility, student eligibility, attendance data, event reporting and certificate distribution
- providing transcripts about past study on request from alumni
- providing award verifications for external agencies and other institutions
The Exams and Awards Team maintains the TechOne Exam Scheduler database and its links with the Student Administration System (Banner).
The team provides advice and guidance on:
- exams
- awards
- graduation data and certified document or verification processes for colleagues in Doctoral College
- Taught Programme Administration, UoS Malaysia, UoS Delhi and Summer School Programmes
