Transcript and European Diploma Supplement Administration

Policy

Each student is entitled to one free transcript per academic year and most awarded students will receive an official European Diploma Supplement with their award.
Additional copies are available on payment of an administration fee. Please note that certain PhD's and Health Science programmes will only receive the front page of their diploma supplement as transcript information is not applicable.

Transcripts and diploma supplements show all of a student's marks. There are a variety of codes that denote how many times the module has been assessed:
OE = original entry. This is the mark recording the student's original achievement in the first attempt at the module assessment (This may also be shown as CA, CE, CC, CH, SG.
OM = mitigated mark. This is the mark gained when taking a referral as if for the first time according to the regulations used in progression and in the classification of award
RE - referral. This is the mark gained in the referral sitting of a module when the original achievement was not a pass
CR= capped mark. This is recording the level at which the student's mark was capped following referral

Process

The Exams and Awards team will issue diploma supplements with the student's certificate and will post them in the same envelope. The team will also issue transcripts on request. Please use the online store via the link Online Store

Each current student is entitled to one free transcript each year. Other requests carry an administration charge of £10 per copy, or 10 transcripts for £50 and can be ordered using the above link.
