The following is a list of University policies (and associated processes) which relate to room booking:
In order to be eligible to request a room booking for a centrally-owned room you must either be
- a member of staff with a University of Southampton Staff ID number
or
- a student with a University of Southampton ID number.

Common Learning Space and centrally-owned rooms can only be booked for activities that are directly linked to University of Southampton business

Common Learning Space rooms cannot be booked for non-teaching activities, excluding Business Critical Events, until the timetable for teaching and Business Critical Events has been finalised (typically this is mid August for semester 1, and mid November for semester 2)

The Curriculum and Timetabling Team will book Faculty and Professional Service owned rooms and all centrally-owned rooms, including Computer Workstations, for teaching purposes and Business Critical Events

The Curriculum and Timetabling Team will book all Common Learning Space and centrally-owned rooms for all other ad hoc bookings

No bookings will be taken for the Admin meeting rooms (George Thomas Building 37 until rooms for senior University Committees (Almanac) have been finalised.
