Cheering our students on

Going to university is a big change for any new student and this can be an important period of transition for both our students and their supporters, who play an important role in preparing for University. We recognise that while our students are adults in an independent learning environment, we know that there will be others who are cheering students on and want to learn about what they can do to support their students on their journey.

Keep Informed

We know it's important that the support networks of students are informed about what's going on at the University and what they can do to help cheer their student on during their time at Southampton.

Parents, guardians and supporters receive a regular newsletter with information about the University of Southampton and guidance on supporting a student.
