Drop-Ins and Follow-Up appointments



We will be holding Drop-Ins, every Wednesday between 9:30 and 11:30 in the Student Services Centre, Highfield campus from Wednesday 26 September 2019.

If you have any questions regarding the Student Support Fund process, or you need support in completing your application then please come and speak to one of our advisors who will be happy to help.

We will also be able to offer advice and support if you are experiencing a delay in your funding coming through.

Please let Reception/Front of House know you are here for the Student Support Fund Drop-In.

Follow-up appointments

After submitting a Student Support Fund application, there may be occasion that the advisor needs to meet to discuss it in more detail. It may be that they need to clarify the information you have provided or want to be sure they understand your personal circumstances.

The advisor may also need to meet with you once the outcome of your application has been agreed, this may be because you have a high shortfall between your income and expenditure or that they have concerns regarding budgeting issues and money management. By meeting together and discussing the situation the advisor can then identify the most appropriate course of action.

If you receive a request for a follow-up appointment you will be asked to contact the team directly within the next 7 days to arrange a mutually convenient time. It is always better if the appointment is face-to-face, but if this is not possible a telephone or Skype appointment can be arranged. You will receive an email confirming the date and time of your appointment.

If you are unable to attend you will need to contact the team to rearrange.

Failure to attend the appointment may result in your application being suspended or closed and no further action taken.
