If you're facing a delay in receiving your statutory funding, then please email stufunds@soton.ac.uk or book an appointment with an advisor to discuss moving forward. You will need to send a bank statement for the last 30 days and evidence that you have submitted your Student Finance/NHS bursary application.

If it is agreed to provide you with support, this will either be in the form of food vouchers or a monetary payment. This would be paid directly into your UK bank account. Please ensure that the university holds your bank details which you can now do online via Self Service on SUSSED. You can access Self Service here. Click on Personal Information and then Update Payment Details. Payments usually reach an account within five working days.

Please be aware that all support is discretionary and cannot be guaranteed.
