The University of Southampton
Transition Project

Transition into University life

Any new student to the University of Southampton, whether home, EU or international, UG or PG, has an overwhelming amount to adjust to: new people, new surroundings and a new way of learning.

This project works with staff and students across the University to develop new ways of enhancing the experience for new students as they adjust to living and learning at the University of Southampton.

Use this website as a resource to:

i) find out more about the Transition Project.

ii) explore advice and guidance around supporting students in transition.

iii) gain useful information from the sector around good practice in this area.
