News on Transition Workshop, 26th of June!
The programme for our Transition Workshop on the 26th of June will be released shortly. Stay tuned! We do have exciting sessions lined up and it looks like it will be an exciting day for anybody involved or interested in Transition at the University.
There are still a few places available.
The workshop sessions will cover a wide range of topics, including
- Pre arrival websites
currently being built in Health Sciences and Medicine
- First year expectations
a study carried out amongst first year Humanities students before and after joining the University
- Academic performance
A current research within Physics is investigating the difficulties first year Physic students experience at the University, and the results and insights will be shared on the day
- Diverse students, diverse needs
Have you ever thought of the wide range of backgrounds our students come from? This session will explore the diverse student body in more detail, and will help to understand how to offer the best support to students from different backgrounds
