You Said: The gym is too busy.

We Did: We have invested £2.5m in the new Mayflower Gym to service the new halls of residence, but also to take the growing pressure off the Jubilee, it has been open 6 months now and is taking approximately 25% of our evening (peak) admissions.  The Jubilee gym attendance has fallen slightly from it’s peak and would not have been able to cope without the addition of the Mayflower.

We also entered into a partnership with Active Nation to give our Sport and Wellbeing members free, unlimited access into their gyms and swimming pools at the Quays, Bitterne Leisure Centre and Chamberlayne Leisure Centre.

You can find more details about our gym facilities on the Sport and Wellbeing website. You can also explore our Jubilee gym facilities online through our Virtual Open Day website
