Making it easier for students to get involved in Students' Union Democracy

You Said: Not many students take part in Students' Union Democracy.

The Students’ Union Did: We have been reviewing the Democracy system at the Students’ Union, including trying various new systems, such as Tap Choose Change and Student Forum trials. The Full-Time Officers took the opportunity to get a bigger student consultation using the Referendum on library opening hours.

These new systems mean that students have greater opportunity to have their voice heard and get involved with the decision-making process of the Students’ Union.
