Establishing certainty, social acceptability and legal restrictions across contexts

The second strand will look at several issues. Social acceptability will be explored through engagement with the public so that we understand the elements of identity that people are comfortable in revealing. Similarly, legal admissibility will be examined so that we are certain of our capacity to obtain, hold and use individual information. Perhaps most importantly, the accuracy and certainty of recognition will be explored, taking each measure individually, and in combination.
