The article outlines how the SuperIdentity project hopes to address issues associated with unreliable and counterfeit identification and provide a faster and more efficient way of combatting the problem. The SuperIdentity project is uniquely positioned to provide an enterprising and unique solution, with a research team consisting of experts from automated biometrics, psychology, forensic anthropolgy, human-computer interaction, mathematical modelling, complex data visualisation and IT law. This expertese will help us to produce a framwork to combine multiple streams of information into a single identity decision, thus resulting in a more robust and reliable decision than would have been possible with just a single stream of information.
