The SuperIdentity Project project on the front page!

The £1.85 million SuperIdentity Project makes an appearance on the front page of the University of Southampton website.

An article entiteld "Caught in the web" is featured on the front page of the University of Southampton website.  The article outlines how the SuperIdentity project hopes to address issues associated with unreliable and counterfeit identification and provide a faster and more efficient way of combatting the problem.  The SuperIdentity project is uniquely positioned to provide an enterprising and unique solution, with a research team consisting of experts from automated biometrics, psychology, forensic anthropolgy, human-computer interaction, mathematical modelling, complex data visualisation and IT law.  This expertese will help us to produce a framwork to combine multiple streams of information into a single identity decision, thus resulting in a more robust and reliable decision than would have been possible with just a single stream of information.
