GCHQ warns of cyber-security threat

GCHQ warns Britain's chief executives that they need to be more alert for cyber-threats in the wake of intellectual property thefts.

Britain's businesses should expect cybersecurity attacks of "an unprecedented scale, diversity and complexity" says Ian Lobban, the directory of GCHQ.  Attacks on data and intellectual property cost businesses money every year, but 80% of known attacks could be defeated by the simplest of security practices.
