We measure and monitor water usage across the University so that we can manage and reduce our consumption.
We’ve fitted a number of water saving devices to help us meet our targets, and we fix any leaks as quickly as possible.
Across our estate we continue to invest in changes that will help us to limit our usage, including as part of our building refurbishment works.
On Highfield Campus, we also capture surface water and then control the way that it is released so that we reduce pressure on local sewers.
If you spot a leak, or can see an opportunity to save water, please tell us as soon as possible by logging a Planon request. A member of the team will then come out and take a look.
