Future Availability of Flood Insurance in the UK

Dr Ozlem Gurses and Johanna Hjalmarsson was awarded one of the inaugural Policy Commissions 2012 by Public Policy@Southampton.
The project 'Future Availability of Flood Insurance in the UK' will be investigating the future availability of insurance for this natural disater, focussing on household policies taken against flood risk.
Findings will provide evidence for decisions made by the Association of British Insurers and Government for future arrangements of flood insurance.
