Environmental/Ecological Economics-Postdoctoral Research Officer

Applications are invited for a three year post-doctoral research officer post in the School of Environment, Natural Resources and Geography to work on a project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, the Natural Environment Research Council, and the Department for International Development (Ecosystem Services for Poverty Alleviation programme) called ‘Can capturing global ecosystem service values reduce poverty in low income countries?' This is a major project involving 10 institutions in four countries, led by Bangor University.

International Institute for Environment and Development- Postdoc Researcher

IIED is looking to recruit to its team a post doctorate researcher to work on a 12 month consultancy contract. The project is to work with IIED in collaboration with CIFOR (Centre for International Forestry Research) and the Institute of Zoology to undertake a systematic review of the effectiveness of alternative livelihood projects - the post doctorate researcher would lead the review process. Visiting Research Position for PhD Students or Post Docs

The International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG) - a think tank focusing its activities on climate policy design and governance - is calling for applications for a six-month visiting research position for PhD Students or Post Docs . Research activities will be carried out in the ICCG's offices, based on the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore in Venice, Italy .

During the visiting period, the researcher is also expected to hold seminars and to contribute to the ICCG publications .
