BEES is recruiting for three student internships

Students can gain paid work experience and contribute to an innovative sustainability project through applying for one of our three term-time internships.

As part of the Business Ethics and Environment Students (BEES) programme, Sustainability Action and SUSU are recruiting for three different student internships during term-time.

All three internships are for 1 day per week for 15 weeks during the second semester starting in the second semester.

As part of our ethical policies, we are paying a the Living Wage - a higher wage than most other internships.

Business Engagement Assistant

In this role you will be developing your marketing skills and business acumen to take part in the innovative new joint University-Students' Union programme. This programme will transform local business by placing students with businesses to help them improve their ethical and environmental practice. You will be working within the BEES team to promote this opportunity to local businesses, schools and community groups, recruiting them to take part. Read more here.

 

Online Presence Developer

In this role you will be working with the joint University-Students' Union teams to develop and implement a new website and social media strategy for the innovative new BEES project. This programme will transform local business by placing students with businesses to help them improve their ethical and environmental practice. You will gain experiencing of designing and building a new website aimed at a multiple audiences. Read more here.

 

Sustainability Practice Assistant

 In this role you will be working with the joint University-Students' Union teams to develop new tools to help local businesses to become more environmentally, socially and economically sustainable. This innovative BEES programme will transform local business by placing students with businesses to help them improve their ethical and environmental practice. You will gain experience of developing ethical and environmental initiatives to be implemented in local businesses and community groups. Read more here.
