The very first Sustainability Action Awards - apply now!
Counting newts in the Valley Garden, litter picking in Bevois Valley or encouraging your friends to switch off? This year the University is launching a new set of awards to celebrate students who demonstrate leadership in sustainability.
We want to honour the work that you are doing around the University and in your local communities.
You have until 28 February to nominate yourself or your friends in the following three categories:
- Outstanding individual contribution to sustainability - one award for students; one for staff
- Outstanding sustainability performance by a group - one award for a student group; one for a staff group; and one for student-staff partnerships
The awards will be presented at a ceremony with staff and students on the afternoon of 26 March and the winners will gain University-wide recognition.

Our panel of staff and student judges will decide the winners.
