Over 250 volunteer for Blackout 2014
Over 250 students and staff volunteer in our annual switch off event, Southampton Blackout.
Southampton Blackout is the signature event in the annual sustainability calendar. In it's third year, Blackout 2014 took place on the 14th November across four campuses: Highfield, Avenue, Winchester School of Art, and Boldrewood. Over 250 students and staff made the event possible by giving up their Friday night to audit and switch off electrical equipment left on unnecessarily in offices and computer rooms.
