Event details

Medsin will be hosting a talk from Dr Stuart-Taylor, an anaesthetist at Southampton General Hospital, who will be sharing her own experiences of working in a poverty stricken area in northern Ghana, with the charity Afrikids.

The talk will cover an outline of why you may choose to work in the health sector in a developing country, including both the rewards and pitfalls. So if you've always wondered what it would be like to work in a developing country, are interested in doing global health work as part of your career or just want some more advice, this is an excellent opportunity to learn more!

Light refreshments provided.
