Conference: Students and Businesses Transforming their City Event

This free one-day conference will inspire and equip staff, students and businesses to deliver sustainability projects and solutions. Throughout the day we will explore how universities and students’ unions can foster a partnership approach to sustainability and the positive impacts such collaborations achieve - empowering students for action, benefiting the local community, and improving university and students’ union reputations nationally. The day will begin with a keynote by Jamie Agombar from NUS, winner of the 2014 Inspiring Leader of the Year in the Guardian University Awards. Other contributions will include the award-winning sustainability partnership from the University of Southampton Students’ Union and the University of Southampton, as well as networking opportunities throughout the day.
