The Transforming Creativity Research Group is made up of a diverse selection of researchers from within Winchester School of Art, including PhD Students, and also affiliated researchers from other institutions:

Ed D'Souza - critical design thinking and practice, creativity and cultural industry, design, social art and design practice, creative ecosystems/industries in China and India, cultural politics and creative and cultural policy.

Mike Bastin - cultural, social and personal influences on fashion brand consumption and on Asia and China in particular

Esrella Sendra Fernandez - festival studies; global screen media; film and media representation of migration; migration and digital media; creative industries in Senegal; African cinema; youth, digital media and activism.

Seth Giddings (co-director of Transforming Creativity)  – everyday media play cultures; design for playful and immersive technologies; nonhuman imagination and creativity.

Calum Kerr – creative writing; writing and editing flash fiction.

Andy Lapham – interaction design and user experience design; design thinking and research in information design for digital devices; director of the WSAiLab.
