TEAtime enables students and teachers to be engaged with current innovative, world-class research at University of Southampton.
Content:
Each academic year we provide four separate TEAtime events. Each event is based around a multidisciplinary research theme and closely linked with A-level (or equivalent) curriculum content.
TEAtime is divided into two themes:
1. STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths)
2. Humanities and Social Sciences
At each event students have the option of attending a workshop best linked with their subject of interest or strength. The workshops are all led by PhD students and early career researchers. The main lecture acts as a Keynote for the day and is led by a senior academic whose research is directly related to the theme.
