Event details
We organised are organising a Data Science Iinterdisciplinary Symposium in Southampton from in January 12th to 14th 2016, building on the Southampton Data Workshop last in September 2014, but with a more national and international scope. The programme will dreaw participants from the core subjects (Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Science), practitioners (including industry and government agencies), and other stakeholders with relevance in Data Science and Big Data.
Event Aims
The overall goal of this event was to strengthen inter-disciplinary and inter-institutional links in Data Science and Big Data, across academia, industry, and government and other organisations.
Please see below the event programme and poster, a post-event news story, and short video interviews with some of the speakers.
