Dragonfly Labs are running a Quantitative Trading Algorithm Competition at the University of Southampton between 6 and 9 December 2019.
The competition will involve writing a novel trading algorithm with a prize of £10,000 funding for the winning algorithm. The competition is open to anyone and no previous experience of trading financial markets is required. However, a tenacious attitude to problem solving is a must. Advantage will come from mathematical, analytical and programming skills.
Dragonfly Labs develops and executes high frequency trading algorithms on financial exchanges. For this competition, they will be working with OKEX, a digital asset exchange, who will also come along to the launch event.
