Foundation year entry requirements

International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) Surat Tanda Tamat Belajar Sekolah Menengah Umum (STTB SMU) - Upper Secondary Certificate of Completion achieving an overall grade 7 out of 10
Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics) Surat Tanda Tamat Belajar Sekolah Menengah Umum (STTB SMU) - Upper Secondary Certificate of Completion achieving an overall grade 7 out of 10, with 7 in maths and physics
Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) Surat Tanda Tamat Belajar Sekolah Menengah Umum (STTB SMU) - Upper Secondary Certificate of Completion achieving an overall grade 7 out of 10, with 7 in maths and a science subject

Undergraduate entry requirements

To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:

STTB-SMA Certificate with an approved foundation programme
High grades in UK A levels obtained in Indonesia
Between 28 and 38 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB)
First year of an relevant university degree with a minimum average grade of 2.8 out of 4.0

Postgraduate entry requirements

Masters programmes

Bachelors degree (Sarjana) with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0

UK 1st degree equivalent: 3.2
UK 2:1 degree equivalent: 3.0

PhD programmes

Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university, and a strong research proposal

English language entry requirements

You will need to be able to demonstrate the required level of English language proficiency. Students from Indonesia who have achieved Cambridge O Level – English grade C+ may be exempted from additional English language requirements.
