International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) | Inmungye KodBng High School Diploma, achieving a minimum overall average of 70% with 70% in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. |
Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics) | Inmungye KodBng High School Diploma, achieving a minimum overall average of 70% with 70% in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. |
Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) | Inmungye KodBng High School Diploma, achieving a minimum overall average of 70% with 70% in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Please note that this course does not progress to an undergraduate degree in medicine. |
To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
Overall B grade (pass) in the High School Certificate plus a foundation year |
Overall B grade (pass) in the High School Certificate plus a first year of an Associate Degree |
UK A levels obtained in Korea (the minimum grades required vary depending on the course) |
Between 28 and 38 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB) |
Masters programmes | Bachelors degree (Haksa) awarded by a recognised University with a minimum GPA of 3.0 |
PhD programmes | Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university, as well as a strong research proposal |

We are pleased to welcome students from South Korea to the University each year. In 2016/17 we have 44 South Korean students studying with us.
Getting involved in clubs and societies is a great way to meet other students from your country and from around the world. There are many societies run by the University's Students' Union (SUSU) for different interests, religions, sports and academic groups.
