International Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate degree in management, humanities, arts and social sciences) | Senior High School Leaving Certificate, achieving an overall average grade of 70% in at least 5 subjects with a minimum of 75% in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course |
Engineering Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in engineering, physics, computer science and geophysics) | Senior High School Leaving Certificate, achieving an overall average grade of 80% with a minimum of 80% in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course |
Science Foundation Year (progressing to undergraduate courses in biology, chemistry and other science-related courses) |

To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need:
Senior High School Certificate with an approved foundation programme |
High grades in UK A levels, obtained in Taiwan |
Between 28 and 38 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB) |
First year of an appropriate Taiwanese university degree with a GPA of 3.0 (75%) - 3.25 (80%) out of 4.0 dependent on awarding institution. |
Masters programmes | Bachelors degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (75%) - 3.25 (80%) out of 4.0 dependent on awarding institution. |
PhD programmes | Good grades in bachelors and masters degrees awarded by a recognised university, and a strong research proposal |

Getting involved in clubs and societies is a great way to meet other students from your country and from around the world. SUROCUK , the Taiwanese Student Union Republic of China United Kingdom, is the largest Taiwanese society throughout the UK. They hold grand events for Taiwanese students to gather together, such as Chinese New Year and local tours.
