Minister and EPSRC CEO visit
The Rt Hon Greg Clark MP, Minister of State for Universities, Science and Cities, visited Southampton University on 20th November 2014. Professor Andrew Cruden explained our activities within the consortium in the field of Battery characterisation and management and V2G modelling for the minister who was accompanied by EPSRC CEO , professor Philip Nelson.
The visit was part of an invitation by the Research Council Chief Executives to showcase the excellent research in Life Sciences at the University of Southampton.
The Rt Hon Greg Clark MP also attended a Life Sciences Research Council Showcase Poster Session with the other esteemed visitors Professor Phil Nelson, CEO EPSRC, Professor Jackie Hunter, CEO BBSRC and Professor Duncan Wingham, CEO, NERC.
