Force Field analysis as a structured focus group activity

A main advantage of focus groups is cost-effectiveness and speed in obtaining insights and a rich of data on about experiences and perspectives in order to better understand assumptions and underlying complex social processes. Focus groups involve a guided discussion and be less or more structured depending on the intended outcomes. Structured focus groups can involve one or several types of collective activities.  In an interactive presentation for the Wessex Academic Health Science Network Learning Lab, Dr Catherine Matheson-Monnet explains how she used Force Field Analysis as a structured focus group activity.
