Meet Mo - from the Wessex AHSN

Mo is the Wessex Academic Health Science Network's animated poster boy for Medicines Optimisation.

Wessex AHSN developed Mo to help patients and carers understand potential issues relating to polypharmacy. Mo wants to encourage patients who take several different types of medicine to feel well - a medicines review with his pharmacist helps him stay healthy and prevents trips to his GP and hospital.

The latest video animation in this well-received series looks at how patients and carers can find support when changes are made to their medicines, usually following a stay in hospital.
