Giles English Guest Lecture
Giles English, co-founder of luxury watch company Bremont Chronometers recently visited Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton.
In a guest lecture delivered to the staff and students of the MA in Luxury Brand Management, Giles English recounted the fascinating story of how, together with his brother Nick, he founded the British Luxury company, Bremont Chronometers. The two brothers, inspired by a love of flying historic aircraft, of watches and all things mechanical established Bremont with the aim of making beautifully crafted pilot’s watches of exceptional quality. As timepieces that are produced to be tested beyond the normal call of duty, Bremont watches attract many loyal customers among explorers, sports people, celebrities and those in military service from across the globe.
Giles provided valuable insights into the promotion of a luxury brand through social media and strategic partnerships as well as touching on recent developments including the Bremont-Jaguar collaboration celebrating the iconic E Type.
